Retail Store Workgroups
In workgroup applications like retail stores most employees don't need their own dedicated line or extension or they may need one extension per department. EnGenius allows users to share phone lines (or ports off a PBX), transfer between handsets, and talk to each other via full - duplex 2 - way radio.
Store Manager Behind a PBX
Plant or store managers who likely require their own dedicated extensions, bases can be set up in a 1 - base - to - 1 - handset ratio off analog ports behind a PBX or key system. By establishing a hunt group or forwarding calls when they are not at their desks, managers can make and receive calls from their regular extension wherever they go in their application.
Security and Shrinkage Control
Because the 2 - way radio is independent of the base station and has a private 1 - to - 1 link with patented frequency hopping, security can talk to each other all over the store without anyone listening to their conversation and without tying up the phone line.
EnQue VoIP: Leader in Chain Store Communications
"Retail chain stores have a great deal or inter-store communication and most now have central call centers for potential shoppers to check inventory.? To cut down on phone bills and make phone system management easier, the EnQue VoIP system can link stores and their call centers, online site, or headquarters via VoIP and still provide CO lines at every location to maintain contact with non-VoIP users."
The EnQue VoIP system can hold up to 250 IP addresses in its registrar, or, because it uses the SIP protocol, can work with a 3rd party SIP server.
Each store can be set up with as few as 4 CO lines, 4 VoIP ports, and 8 extensions or up to 16 CO lines, 16 VoIP ports, 32 local on-site extensions with desksets or cordless phones and 32 virtual off-site extensions.? The headquarters or call center can be linked with either the built-in SIP server or a SIP-based IP-PBX if they require additional expandability.? A robust auto-attendant system with 9 AAs and 10 general voicemail or information-only boxes can be used to announce the hours, specials, or location information to reduce general calls to the cash wrap area.
